Welcome to RSS&B, Inc. ("RSS&B," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern participation in RSS&B programs, events, services, volunteer activities, food distributions, community outreach initiatives, educational programs, and use of our website and related services. By participating in any RSS&B activity or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

About RSS&B

RSS&B, Inc. (Redeeming Spirit Soul & Body) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals, families, and communities through food assistance, community outreach, health education, counseling, volunteer opportunities, and other charitable programs.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, attending, volunteering, receiving assistance from, donating to, or otherwise participating in RSS&B programs and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility

Participation in RSS&B programs is open to eligible individuals and families regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, disability, or other legally protected status.

Certain programs may require registration, eligibility verification, or compliance with specific program guidelines.

Food Distribution Programs

RSS&B operates food pantry and food distribution programs to assist individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

Distribution Policies

• Food and other donated items are distributed free of charge.

• Distribution is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise specified.

• Availability of food and supplies is subject to inventory levels and donations received.

• RSS&B does not guarantee the availability of specific food items or quantities.

• Participants are responsible for transporting and storing distributed items safely after receipt.

Waiver of Liability for Distributed Items

Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge that food, beverages, household goods, hygiene products, clothing, and other donated items distributed by RSS&B may originate from various donors, food banks, retailers, manufacturers, distributors, community partners, and charitable organizations.

While RSS&B takes reasonable precautions to inspect, store, handle, and distribute items safely, participants understand and agree that:

• RSS&B cannot guarantee the quality, freshness, suitability, nutritional value, or condition of any distributed item.

• RSS&B makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding distributed products.

• Participants are solely responsible for inspecting all items before use or consumption.

• Participants are responsible for following proper storage, preparation, cooking, handling, and consumption practices.

Release and Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless RSS&B, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, donors, partners, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, injuries, illnesses, allergic reactions, foodborne illnesses, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from:

• Receipt of distributed food or donated items

• Consumption or use of distributed products

• Transportation of distributed products

• Storage or preparation of distributed products

• Participation in food distribution events

This waiver applies whether the claim arises from negligence or otherwise, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Event Participation

Participants attending RSS&B events agree to:

• Follow all event rules and instructions.

• Behave respectfully toward volunteers, staff, and other participants.

• Refrain from disruptive, threatening, abusive, or unlawful behavior.

• Comply with all safety procedures.

RSS&B reserves the right to deny participation or remove individuals whose conduct jeopardizes safety, operations, or the well-being of others.

Volunteer Participation

Volunteers agree to:

• Follow RSS&B policies and procedures.

• Perform assigned duties responsibly.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding participant information.

• Comply with safety guidelines and training requirements.

Volunteer service is provided voluntarily and does not create an employment relationship.

Medical Disclaimer

RSS&B does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare services unless specifically stated within a licensed program.

Information provided during educational programs, counseling sessions, workshops, or community events is intended for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice.

Donations

All donations made to RSS&B are voluntary and generally non-refundable unless required by law.

RSS&B reserves the right to use donations where they are most needed unless a specific restricted purpose is agreed upon in writing.

Photography and Media Release

RSS&B may photograph, record, or videotape events and activities for educational, promotional, fundraising, and reporting purposes.

By attending RSS&B events, participants grant RSS&B permission to use photographs, videos, and recordings in publications, websites, social media, promotional materials, and other communications.

Individuals who do not wish to be photographed should notify RSS&B staff before participating.

Privacy

RSS&B is committed to protecting personal information. Information collected through registrations, applications, donations, and volunteer programs will be used for organizational purposes, service delivery, compliance, and communication.

RSS&B will not sell personal information to third parties.

Indemnification

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless RSS&B, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from their actions, omissions, misconduct, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Force Majeure

RSS&B shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or inability to provide services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters

• Severe weather

• Public health emergencies

• Government actions

• Supply chain disruptions

• Transportation failures

• Labor shortages

Modification of Services

RSS&B reserves the right to modify, suspend, reschedule, or discontinue any program, event, distribution, service, or activity at any time without prior notice.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between RSS&B and participants regarding participation in RSS&B programs, events, services, and activities.
